Volunteer

The Portland Latin American Film Festival thanks all our volunteers over the past years, without you this festival would not be possible. PDXLAFF is a non-profit organization under the guidance of the Film Action Oregon. The Festival is held annually in October. The following are examples of different volunteer opportunities:

• Theater Venues: direct audience to proper screen, sell tickets, will-call, tear tickets, hand out program guides, inform attendees about festival, announcement before film.
• Answer phones, answer questions about venues, ticket pricing, etc.
• Distribute marketing materials around town
• Special events: Meet and greet, set-up and take down, ticket sales, food/drink service, collect donations

If you have specific skills such as graphic design, web design, copy editor, translation/interpretation please contact us. Thank you in advance for volunteering.
